The Paso Robles Inn was the perfect setting for this summer Garden Party wedding.  Sometimes when meeting and working with couples at weddings you just know the bride and groom were made for each other... and that is so true for Rebecca & Erik... truly a remarkable couple.  They met at a culinary school and incorporated that theme into their wedding.  From the "recipe for a good marriage" cards... to the cooking utensil party favors... to the fantastic and wonderfully delicious wedding cake prepared by the bride herself, it is clear the culinary world will play an important part in their lives and in their future together.

My Spa Photo Display! YES!!!

Yearbook deadlines vary from school to school usually around early October.  Be sure to check the details with your school.

Sessions are limited so it's a good idea to reserve your spot early.

The new Senior website is coming along and should go live by the end of the week.

Current Events for January 2008

Happy New Year!

December was a busy month for us, as it always is.  Besides the holidays keeping us busy, both personally and professionally, I spent many of my "spare" hours updating my Family Portrait Site and adding a new Wedding site.  If you want to see it, you can click the link under my "cool places to visit".  I absolutely LOVE weddings!!!

Since I have also seen a big growth in my Senior Portraits, I am currently in the process of designing a site devoted just to them.  I love shooting Seniors... so much fun!!!  I will post the link as soon as it is up and running.

I want to thank all of my clients for making my first year in business a success!  It truly was a pleasure meeting and working with all of you.

Holiday Portraits!

The deadline for Holiday Portrait Sessions is November 18th.  There are a limited number of sessions left, so please reserve your date soon.  The session may be held at your home or at a location of your choice.  The session fee is $150/family and includes one 8x10 portrait. 

I am also offering custom designed holiday cards... purchased in boxes of 25 at $35/set(one design per box).  There are five unique designs to choose from.

Seniors 2008 - Artist's Choice

I love the process of creating a portrait from beginning to end... from getting the shot, to proofing the images, to adding the artistic touches, to seeing my client's reaction when they first see their gallery, all the way to the final portrait.  During this process usually one or two images begin to stand out to me, the ones I feel really capture your personaly, your style, your soul... the "Artist's Choice".  So to my 2008 Senior Grads... here are my picks.  And it was difficult to pick just one.

Thanks to all of you... it was fun!  You are great, and I wish you all the best year ever.

Sabrena

Well the day of the photo shoot didn't go quite as planned, but sometimes the unexpected turns out to be a good thing.  We didn't allow a last minute location switch stop us from having a great session.  Besides I don't think Sabrena could take a bad picture if she tried no matter the place... her natural beauty just shines in front of the camera.

I know you've been waiting for your sneak peek Sabrena... so here you go.  And thanks for being flexible with the location thing.
